Bring Your Art to Life with Thoughtful, Professional Photography

As an artist, your work speaks volumes—so your photographic documentation should too. With a background in fine art, a degree in photography, and personal experience exhibiting in galleries, I understand both the passion and precision that goes into your creative process.
My exhibition photography is more than just documentation—it’s a collaboration. I capture your work as it was meant to be seen: with care, intention, and an eye for artistic integrity.

Why Professional Exhibition Photography Matters

A Photographer Who Gets Artists

With firsthand experience exhibiting my own work, I bring empathy and insight to every shoot. I understand how to honour your creative decisions and capture the essence of your exhibition.

Preserve Your Vision

Lighting, scale, framing, and presentation all play a role in how your art is experienced. I ensure those elements are thoughtfully translated into every image.

QUESTIONS

I photograph a wide range of exhibitions—from solo and group shows in commercial galleries to student pop-ups and artist-run spaces. Whether your work is installation-based, sculptural, print, or mixed media, I capture it with an eye for composition, lighting, and the details that matter to you.

Turnaround times are usually 1–3 business days. If you have a specific deadline (press, applications, etc.), let me know when booking and I’ll do my best to prioritise delivery.

Absolutely. My pricing starts at $200, and I do my best to accommodate student budgets wherever possible. Let’s have a chat about what you need, and I’ll suggest a tailored option that fits your scope and budget.

Yes! I offer coverage of exhibition openings and events, capturing the atmosphere, interactions, and behind-the-scenes moments that make openings so special. This can be added to your shoot package when booking.

Each session includes high-resolution documentation of your work in situ—capturing overall gallery shots, detailed views, and any curatorial elements like wall text or artist statements. You’ll also receive web-ready images for sharing on social media, websites, or grant submissions. Optional add-ons include opening night coverage and custom social media assets.

Try to ensure the gallery lighting is set as it will be during the exhibition, and that all final adjustments have been made before our scheduled time. If there’s something in-progress or not quite ready, just let me know—we can work around it.

About Me

Hi, I’m Robyn

an exhibiting artist, degree-qualified photographer, and the calm behind the camera

As a Brisbane-based photographer with a background spanning photography, art history, and printmaking, I bring both technical skill and genuine creative understanding to exhibition documentation. I’m an active exhibitor myself — my work has appeared in group and curated exhibitions across Brisbane — so I know what it means to see your work represented with accuracy and care. Whether you’re documenting installation details, capturing the atmosphere of an opening night, or creating a lasting record of your exhibition, I approach every shoot with the eye of an artist and the precision of a professional.

Think about adding in an artist portrait session …

Many artists choose to pair their exhibition shoot with a short branding session—perfect for website bios, grant applications, and social media. These can be done on location in the gallery or nearby, and are designed to feel natural and relaxed.

Ready To Document Your Exhibition?

It’s best to get in touch well ahead of opening week—planning early means we can discuss timing, lighting, and whether to include elements like didactics or final install touches in your shoot.

Not quite ready to book? No problem—feel free to bookmark this page or sign up to my newsletter to be the first to hear about upcoming tips, behind-the-scenes insights, and exclusive offers.

I empower women to showcase their expertise and personality through bespoke personal branding photography, providing a tailored library of on-brand images ready to elevate your presence.

I live and work in Meeanjin on the lands of the Turrbal and Jagera people and pay my respects to elders past and present.
